Meeting potential new partners for the project DigiTechPort2030, keeping up with scientific research on maritime topics and networking – that was all part of the annual event of the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021-2027, research associate Elizaveta Diatlova took in September part in for the European Project Center and represented the project.
During several events during the conference there were interactive games, abstract teambuilding and even a glimpse how things are looking under the sea during a walk through the Ozeaneum. Some ideas for future projects also popped up.
The project DigiTechPort2030 is about the decarbonisation of small ports’ ecosystems for efficient environmental and energy management towards south Baltic fit for 55. The interreg-project is co-funded by the European Union and aims at providing access to missing knowledge on green transition and decarbonisation for such ports by developing and deploying two solutions by the end of 2026. On the one hand a Green Energy Harmonisation Toolbox and on the other hand a EU Regulation and Green Policy Compliance Roadmap of Green Transition for SMSPs.
