As part of the Germany-wide Ekipa Innovation Challenge, a team of students from Wismar University of Applied Sciences developed strategies for standardising voluntary biodiversity credits for the company RWE.
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr Ali Arnaout, the team analysed current market standards and developed proposals for RWE's commitment in the field of renewable energies. They presented their ideas in the final on 11 April 2025.
Despite narrowly missing out on victory, the participants gained valuable practical experience in sustainability management and teamwork.
