At the end, exhaustion and satisfaction on both sides.
Prof. Dr. Olaf Streuer was satisfied: His students from the Bachelor's programme in Business Administration had done good, even excellent work in the modules "Strategic Marketing/Market Research" and "Marketing Case Studies". On the basis of a practical project in the field of university marketing, a survey with a concrete reference was carried out and evaluated, and a marketing and communication strategy was developed. Over a period of several weeks, three teams developed a concept under practical and competitive conditions, which then had to be pitched to a jury. For this purpose, the InnovationPort once again made its magnificent premises available to provide an appropriate stage.
Members of the jury were:
Hartmut Domröse, who knows exactly what good pitches should look like for the Robert Schmidt Institute of the university in the area of start-ups and business start-ups. Prof. Dr. Matthias Wißotzki, who, as Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's digital ambassador and as a business informatics specialist with a focus on digitalisation, can distinguish good pitches from bad ones (and also teaches this). Mathias Wolf, who as media officer is responsible for the concrete implementation of the marketing and communication strategy. And of course Prof. Dr. Streuer, who developed the marketing project and accompanied it with his expertise and many years of practical experience.
We sincerely congratulate all participating teams on their achievement and hope that this practical work has given a good insight into the professional field of marketing.
