The annual turnover of Egger Holzwerkstoffe GmbH is €4.45 billion (2022/2023) and the Egger Group has 22 wood processing plants in 11 countries. Reason enough for our students on the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Administration with the chosen field of competence "Controlling" to take a closer look at the production line and the figures relevant to the site.
Together with Prof. Dr. Heuer and Ms. Walden-Bergmann, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Mertens, Head of Controlling, who guided and accompanied them during the excursion.
We are pleased to be able to regularly give our students an insight into the real-life application of the concepts and theories they have learnt in real company environments. This reduces the gap between theoretical and practical experience and offers the opportunity to enter the desired profession quickly after graduation.
